A community that helps each other and cares about one another in different ways to me that is a tight community. One example that you can tell that your community is tight is when you go to the closest store to your street and the all store employees know your name or say what's up or what's good. This shows they care about you one cause they remember your name or at least they want to know how you doing. I can know my community feels and sound tight is by talking to my neighborhood and getting together and having fun for example on my block on the summer we make BBQ party and listen to Spanish music. This act shows me that my community is tight and makes me feel like it as well. I can tell when a community is unified and one that is divided because the neighborhood is not tight and don’t care about each other. Our 9x9 community can maintain united or tight by talking to our classroom, getting to know each other and helping each other. - Alex B.

You could tell a group of people are tight by their body language and how they act around each other and difference in the tone of laughter. You could tell when somebody is Not as tight with somebody also by body language and negative reactions towards them.
We could help our 9x9 community stay united by staying positive with and around each other and by always! being honest and keeping the same positive attitude and helping each other in any situation when need. - Jay S.

A tight community is like a group of people who knows each other very well, and know or have the same culture. It looks like people having fun with each other, chilling and playing with each other in a nice calm space. A tight community feels like the vibe is so chill and clam; it's like your just going to fit right in. An example of a community that is divided would be people separating themselves by race or culture. A unified community, everyone is one together. I think we can help maintain our 9x9 by following the community agreements and getting to know each other using different games etc. - Jevon P.

A tight community to me means when everyone does activities together and they know each other well to the point where when they get mad the other person or people know how to calm you down. A tight community also means when one fight the whole community fighting because you can call them for anything and they will be there. It feels like a group of people that care about you and will help you with and through anything because yall are a community. I can tell the difference between a unified community and one that is divided bc one that is divided is when they don't have block parties or anything also the community is quiet or there are certain groups that hang out. We can help by planning more events and activities for the communities so they can come out and have fun and mingle a little bit get to know everyone.- Darius F.

A tight community must look like a neighborhood where people live together and is mostly crowded, sounds like if people don't really have space to be somewhere. It feels like a population is overfilled and no space at all. The difference between a unified and a divided community is that in a unified community, lots of people are hanging out together and there's always a party around the neighborhood. A divided community is one where people don't really be together or don't really talk to each other much. We can maintain our 9x9 community by helping each other out and supporting each other. - Xavier M.

A tight community looks like everyone is getting along. It sounds like everyone is not cursing or yelling at each other. It feels like everyone is comfortable to be around each other or that there is a good vibe with everyone. You can the tell the difference between a community that is unified and one that is divided because in a divided community not everyone gets along everyone has there own group and if you're not in their group then they don't mess with you. But, a community that is unified you can see that everyone gets along, no one is arguing or fighting with each other and you can see that everyone has love for everyone because they are all part of one community. I think we maintain our 9x9 community united by everyone has to have respect for each other, no disrespecting everyone's space or privacy because if no one has respect for other peoples space or privacy then some people will feel uncomfortable and there will be drama. - Jannya H.
